Stephen Davison the bestselling crime thriller novelist.  But what a funny route Stephen has had to get there.  He has been a researcher in the field of Immunology at the University of Cambridge, moved on to qualify as a Doctor of Chiropractic, developed a very successful Chiropractic business with his wife Jo, and now has moved in to the world of writing crime novels!  More specifically Kindle Crime mystery novels and he has already enjoyed great success selling over 160,000 copies of his first two novels.

The Varcy and Kendrick Crime Thriller Series

I don’t really see any Chiropractic links to the Varcy and Kendrick Crime Thriller series, although there is a strong medical link to the story lines, especially in Book 1 of the series, Kill and Cure.  The two lead characters are London detectives Varcy and Kendrick, and the stories are always fast paced with twisting plots, essential for a gripping crime thriller!

Child Abuse? Care home kids? MP’s and other so-called pillars of society involved in all of it?

Not the easiest subject for a crime thriller, but for chiropractor-turned author Stephen Davison the themes were as exciting as they were surprising.
‘I don’t plan anything,’ he says. ‘I write and see where it takes me. Much of the subject matter just appears and so it’s as unexpected to me as anyone reading it.’
The centre of all this attention is his new crime thriller novel THE HUNTED KIND. The zeitgeist qualities in it are obvious. What with the Savile enquiry, the child abuse allegations up in Rotherham and, in the last few weeks, the fuss around alleged abuse of care home kids by MP’s at Dolphin Square, the theme is very current.
